Cornfield

We were in a lake, and then we were not in a lake.

Animals.

Day 20 (8-7-11)

The show in Kansas City was a bust, but we managed to get some pretty outstanding Indian food in our bellies, fortifying us for the drive home.  The show in Lawrence was a good time.  We did a round-robin style reading with Josh Boyd and couple of other Lawrence poets.  We drove late into the night to get to St. Louis, then left first thing in the morning for Chicago - where we are now.  Ben and I are both planing a lengthy couple of posts to put a little cap on this tour blog - at least for now.  So you have those to look forward to!  Thanks for following this!  It's been a really great time, and I feel very blessed/honored/fortunate/good to have had this opportunity to travel and and meet so many incredible people, artists and performers and patrons of the arts.  Thank you, thank you.

What our things look like.  These are our things.

Day 16 (7-31-11)

Hastings Reading.  Looks like gang-leader confessional footage.

After the reading.  Ben doing the creep from the kitchen.
